As most of you know, in Shakespeare's "Hamlet" Laertes is Ophelia's brother. As the brother site of my personal blog Ophelia, Laertes serves as a photoblog, or rather as a place for me to show my favorite pictures. I have a very active Flickr account, where I load most of my pictures, so I decided to dedicate this space to my best images, either according to me or to general audience appreciation on Flickr. Of course you are kindly invited to explore and comment on my works.

My name is Alessandra. I'm 27 and I live in Milano, Italy. I graduated last year and I have just started a new job as a design/marketing manager for Haribo (yeah, the candy company). Other than photography, I love relaxing on my couch with a good book or a dvd and a cup of tea, as much as I like spending the evening at the pub with my friends. I love sushi as much as spaghetti, beer as much as Coke. I love cold rainy nights and a warm summer sunset. I am addicted to Ikea and I can't wait to move to a flat of my own with my boyfriend Stefano. I love English and Swedish, almost more than Italian. But I always defend the Italian Way Of Life.
