The first kiss in Dawson's Creek (except Mr. and Mrs. Leery's make out scene on the coffee table) is actually the kiss between Pacey and Tamara (the "you're not a boy" kiss). Dawson tries to kiss Jen but is rejected with style by the New York girl.

An almost feigned-kiss is seen on TV at the beginning of the episode. Joey pulls away disgusted when she's only millimeters from Pacey's lips (talk about losing a chance... ;)). Dawson kisses Joey... well, her dummy head, but it's still a kissing scene, right? Later, there's another feigned kiss recorded on camera between Pacey and Jen. Pacey seems to get way to deep in the part, if you know what I mean, and Dawson clearly isn't ok with it. One more kiss for Pacey and Tamara and Mr. Witter scores a 3-0 on the kiss competition with Dawson. Dawson still tries to score a point with Jen but she asks for a little dance, instead.

Things finally get hot in Capeside! Joey goes very near to a sandy beach kiss in the arms of a preppy guy, but then she pulls back, only to kiss the boy goodbye on the pier (the this-is-my-first-kiss-but-let's-not-show-it kiss). Dawson almost kisses Jen, but then she pulls back, only to change her mind seconds later for a dusty under-the-foliage kiss which is Dawson's first kiss. In the meantime, Pacey and Tamara find a way to enjoy themselves too, only meters from Dawson and Jen. They end up lovingly hugged on the green ground.

Dawson and Jen kiss passionately in front of her house (the screw it kiss). Dawson later tries some really hot snugging in his bedroom, but she stops him (still trying to keep up with Pacey's score?). When he discovers Jen's secret, things get a little cold for the couple.

Pacey and Tamara kiss quickly while Doug isn't in the room, then fall on the floor laughing when Pacey hugs her. No kisses for Dawson and Jen, but a warm and loving hug at the end of the hurricane sets things back to normal. And Tamara pulls Pacey into the house for some, er, homework.

Kisses for everyone! Let's start with Dawson kissing Jen's cheek while walking in school, and then they share a goodbye kiss when he goes to gym class. Then, during that famous "Truth or Dare" game, lips get close again, even if it's for the love of the game ^_^. First it's Pacey-Jen going for a 10 seconds kiss. AND, what's most important, Dawson and Joey share a 15 seconds kiss that, as Abby puts it "could set the atlantic ocean on fire".

Jen and Dawson kiss quickly in school while walking to the classes. As soon as Billy gets closer to Jen he tries to kiss her but she stops him. She kisses him later just to make him go away, though. An almost kiss from Adwson to Jen when she tries to apologize then things get very bad and no more kisses for the two of them. Joey, after having some drinks, falls in the arms of a blonde guy (Pacey goes to her rescue - what a hero!). Later, Dawson receives a kiss from drunk Joey while putting her to sleep on her sofa.

Only one kiss, pure and almost friendly, between Dawson and that woman he picked up in the club (and he could have had much MORE than a kiss, you know...)

Woah! Dawson and Jen almost kiss again, and right in his bedroom, shrouded by darkness. They both stop before they actually kiss (or was it just Jen?). Jen gets a kiss from Cliff she is all but happy to get. And he seems to notice that, so she apologizes with a kiss on his cheek, then leaves.

Finally Pacey and Joey get along together! With the help of some carnivorous snails, a swim in the creek and a mirror, romance seems to bloom between the two. Well, for it does Pacey. It doesn't for her. He gives her a quick kiss before she pulls away... and the rest is sad history.

Jen kisses Dawson right on his bed, after spending the night there in his arms. Needless to say he couldn't care less about it. In the final scene of the episode we actually see the most important kiss of the season, the hot, romantic, long-awaited, real, non-feigned, non-dared, non-drunk, prolonged mutual kiss between Dawson and Joey.
